I’m Ash,
Twenty years a professional photographer. My career has taken me from London's creative industry to assignments photographing members of the Royal Family. It's also taught me the thing I value most: the best photographs are of people being genuinely themselves.
Now I live and shoot here in the Algarve, and this walk is the purest version of what I love about the job. Glorious light. Good company. Watching someone's face when they catch a shot they didn't know they could take.
A note on the photos: every guest receives at least ten professionally edited images.
That’s the guarantee. In reality, it’s usually more. If there are great moments worth keeping, I send them.

For comparison: a private photoshoot in the Algarve typically costs €300 or more. My own sessions start at €320. This walk is the most affordable way to be photographed by me.

The Details
The practical bits:
€50 per adult
€30 per child, ages 5 to 12
Not suitable for under 5s. We walk uphill near cliff edges as the light fades
Maximum 10 people per walk
Meet: Praia da Boca do Rio car park, 7:25pm
Walk: 7:30pm to 9:00pm. Stay for the last light if you like
Wear comfortable shoes, bring water

Yes. Modern phones are remarkable. Knowing how to use the light is what separates the shots, and that's one of the techniques I teach.

Absolutely. Bring whatever you have — a DSLR, a mirrorless, a disposable, your phone.
Part of the evening is learning to get the best pictures with the camera you have and enjoy it.
